Being Seattle and it being the 4th of July, one wouldn’t expect good camping weather. (Let’s just say it was a good thing I finally finished Zoe’s sweater!) But that didn’t stop the girls from having a *great* time in the dirt and cold with the St. Pierre side.
Some shots of the highlights:
Patient packer (and sporting her new sweater!)
Lunch
That Pepere will do just about anything for a smile!
Glasses, of course
Thrilled to “help” Nana in the Maggie-sized kitchen (this, the stool she’s standing on and the spice shelf occupied MUCH of her time staying in from the cold!)
Blurry, but looking like her mom for once?
Fearless
Lessons in cave drawings…and goofin around
Nature guide
snuggles
Kickin’ back
Pepere and his girls
'splorin' with daddy
And crashing HARD (though not hard enough! we were treated to an all-nighter with Ms. M that night :S)
Camp forewoman
Putting auntie Erin and uncle Chris to the test
Moo and auntie Erin
Bug and uncle Chris Tap tap, swing swing!
Maggie and her “purses”
Let’s go already!
Knockin’ back a tall, cool one
Guarding Moo
Much to Moo’s dismay? Nah!
Fancy feast (aka, Father’s Day menu revisited)
The making of a fit (aka blackmail)
And…better!
Waiting for camping cookies (aka s’mores)
Collecting specimens
Breaking camp (sniff!)
It really was a great weekend. Thanks to the fam for coming together and for all your help with the girls. Great memories.
