I know, we have a lot of Christmas in our family, but it’s great. I think it makes what would otherwise be a dark, dull and cold time of year, warm and bright. Kid cuteness in the mix helps make the cheer go round, too.

(first) Christmas 2012

Glad we had a last Christmas at Nana and Pepere’s Buckley house. It was lovely and I’m sure we’ll have more great ones at their new Shoreline place!

Christmas Eve Cookies (2012)

The tradition continues: cookies at our house before yummy takeout. In previous years, I’ve found this to be hectic fun, but this round of baking with the girls was awesome (might have a little to do with a far easier gingerbread dough!). I really *enjoyed* it. There’s lots of blurriness here, but the expressions are priceless, so bear with me as I retire my editor for a moment.<3
