A bit of follow-up on her b-day post. She got her first wiggly tooth just on the heels of turning six and Nana dug out our family tooth fairy pillow, just in time:
Which somehow will have to act as a segway to Zoe’s first sewing project: a kitty pillow that she made for Auntie Erin’s baby (TBA: Baby Maddie!).
So sweet. So six.
Zoe was SO six when she turned six. A kindergartener with a loose tooth, such a little miss. We had a great little house party for her and a ‘flock’ of friends. What a great day.
Happy 6, Zoe!
First, before New Year’s Eve, comes New Year’s Eve, eve when we celebrate friends with Tom Hughes’ birthday on 12/30. The girls *loved* the bowling. And I love that they are open to doing a big shared b-day thing for their next b-day (esp, if if involves bowling). We’ll see. In the meantime, there’s these:
Then! the real deal on the big wheel! what a great bit of fun, taking a bus downtown to meet daddy, walk the water front, grab some lunch and then a ride on the wheel. That was great. Wonder if we can make it a tradition…
I know, we have a lot of Christmas in our family, but it’s great. I think it makes what would otherwise be a dark, dull and cold time of year, warm and bright. Kid cuteness in the mix helps make the cheer go round, too.
