Our little big preschooler

Zoe made her schooling debut last Thursday with flying colors and without a single tear or an ounce of anxiety. From her or us!

It’s been a tricky follow-up to that debut, what with our keeping her out of school on Friday to make a trip to the coast for a visit with Dave’s fam (more on that later) and then not falling back into a routine until Tuesday. Tuesday morning there was a tiny bit of reluctance at the drop-off and Tuesday pm was a bit, shall I say, challenging (that girl was TRIED AND TIRED). But each morning since has been a breeze and the witching hours a little less weary.

I think my favorite thing about her taking this big step is seeing her confidence and self-satisfaction bloom. I think this girl is going to truly love school.
